The vibrational frequencies of the crystal bowls have the ability to move through skin fluid and bones of the body, creating a full body relaxation and recalibration down to the level of the cellular structure.

The experience creates an environment of "resonance" within the body.

Using sound therapy the vibrations can align your chakras. One session can help clear your mind, open your heart, melt tension and activate the lymphatic system for healing. Each bowl emits a diverse sound vibration that relates to each chakra.

 Each of my sound bath events are constructed differently. Playing the crystal bowls alongside other percussion instruments from around the world which help you to ground alongside beautiful music adding specific frequencies to give a different experience each time.

Our chakra's are energy centres that represent various physical and emotional aspects of our lives. When these energy centres are in balance , our mind, body and spirit feel at peace and healthy and we can use a wide array of sound healing methods to accomplish this.


1Healing Sound Baths

 Within each event is also a relaxing guided meditation and breath work to help you relax, unwind and come into a place of stillness where you can become present. 

We finish with a closing circle where you will be served cbd tea and energy balls.

 Things that you might experience during a sound bath:

  • Better body awareness/being more in tune with your body


Why do we drink water before and after a sound bath?

It is recommended that you be well hydrated before your experience as sound and vibration travel much better through water and important that you drink plenty of water afterward as you may feel dehydrated and thirsty. Because the way that this works is that our bodies are around 60 to 70% water. In this water we carry anxiety, stress and even sometimes trauma.

Is it normal to fall asleep during a sound bath?

Falling asleep during a sound bath meditation is very common and nothing to be embarrassed about.

What brain waves frequency are you in during a sound bath?

You will first shift into alpha brain waves frequency 8 - 13 Hz  which occur when you feel relaxed and when the brain is in an idle state without concentrating on anything, before moving into the theta brain wave state during internal focus, meditation and spiritual awareness. They reflect the state between wakefulness and sleep and relates to the subconscious mind.

Can sound waves effect the brain?

Certain frequencies, sound and music have the power to stimulate the brain, to even produce neorotransmitters such as serotonin, which is the "feel good" chemical messenger, and can be utilized to increase pleasure and reduce feelings of pain.

Are sound baths god for anxiety?

As the mind and body relax, the heart rate and blood pressure decrease and our breathing becomes deeper. It is in this state that deep healing can occur. A sound bath not only reduces stress and anxiety  and PTSD by inducing a state of relaxation, but it also has physical effects.

How often should you do a sound bath?

1-2 sessions per month are recommended. However, if you are experiencing emotional , physical or mental challenges then more could be beneficial. 

Who should not attend a sound bath?

If you are in your first trimester of pregnancy you should not attend a sound bath. If you've had a bone fracture, pease wait 6 weeks before attending. The work that we are doing can cause powerful vibrations that can be felt in the body, this can also be felt if you have any metal plates or screws in the body.

What do I  wear for a sound bath?

Wear loose comfortable clothing as you will be lying still for most of the session. and maybe a couple of layers as the body temperature can both drop or increase with different people.

What should I bring with me?

Please bring with you your water and a yoga or pilates mat. I have a few spare mats but please ask me first if you need to borrow one as I don't want anyone left without one.

Meditation blankets and pillows will be supplied to get you into comfort but if you have a favourite one's of your own, please feel free to bring them.

Also please feel free to bring any of your crystals or gemstones that you would like to charge up with the energy of this event.

Eye masks are also available to get deeper into the experience and you may want to bring something to journal in and a pen, if you want to write down anything that came up for you.
