  Q & A's

Q.

What should I wear for the class?

 A.

There is no set rules for what you should wear apart from make sure that it is comfortable, with room to move in.

Layers are always a good option as you will get quite warm during the yoga flow, then your body will get cooler when the pace slows into the yin postures, mindful breathing and meditation.

Q.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

A.

During the Pandemic, I am unable to provide equipment. You will need to bring your own yoga mat which is necessary and also water. It is totally your choice if you would also like to bring your own yoga blocks, strap etc. These are useful but not essential. Also at the moment the classes are being held in a heated marquee so although not cold, it is still fresher than indoors so it is always good to bring some warm clothes and socks and a snuggly blanket for the meditation to keep you cosy.

Q.

When is the deadline to arrive for a class?

A.

Everyone is expected to arrive 5 minutes prior to the class starting, so that it gives everyone time to choose their space and get settled in. The entrance will be locked at the start of class, so access is not possible if you arrive late.

Q.

Can I leave before the class ends?

A.

Leaving the class before it ends disrupts the other students so please do not attend if you can not stay for the lengh of the class.

Q.

When can I sign up?

A.

Booking is available whenever there is a place available in any of the classes. These get booked up quickly, so it is always good to book as soon as possible.

Q.

Is there anywhere to park my car?

A.

Yes. Although there is not any allocated parking space, the address is on a street where there is often ample parking spaces.

Q.

Do I have to have any previous experience?

A.

No. No experience is necessary. The classes are for all levels and abilities, as modifications are given for most of the postures as I do not believe that everyone should reach a certain standard or level. Yoga is to be enjoyed, not injured and it is not about how good that you get at it but more about how much good that is doing for you and most importantly how much you all enjoy it.

Q.

Do I need to come with a friend or can I come on my own?

A.

It is totally up to you, as so many in my classes come on their own. Some come with their partners and some come with  their friends. If their are a group of you that want to come together, there often aren't many places still available to fit a  group of friends together but please contact me as I can sometimes put on an extra class especially for you and your friends.

Q.

Do you do private one to one classes?

A.

Yes I do, but these can not be booked online like the group classes, as these need to be arranged separately with a time  and length of class that suits both parties and discussed what you are wanting from the class so that it can be tailored around you specifically.

Q.

Is there social distancing?

A.

Yes. Social distancing is expected at all times. There is a sanitizing station for everyone to use upon entry as well as exit.

The NHS Covid19 app is also needed to be on your mobile phone too so that you can check in upon arrival both for your safety as well as mine and the other students.

Q.

Am I required to wear a face mask?

A.

It is totally your choice to whether or not you you wear a face mask upon entering and leaving the class. Facemasks are  not required during the class and social distancing is requested at all times.

Q.

Am I required to scan in?

A.

Yes, the NHS Covid19 App is to be downloaded onto your mobile phone so that you can scan in on the QR Code upon entering.

Q.

Do I get a refund if I am unable to make the class?

A.

I operate a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend a class then your payment will be transferred onto your next chosen class but if cancelled in under 48 hours of the booking then late charges will be incurred.

Q.

Do I need to make you aware of any medical conditions or injuries?

A.

Only if they could be a danger to yourself or any other student during your practice. If unsure then it is always good to    notify me so that we can make a decision on what is best for you.

All students are asked not to attend a class if they are even slightly unwell with anything that is infectious.

Q.

What happens to forgotten or lost items?

A.

Any items left behind would be found straight away by myself and would be put aside in a safe place for you to collect. Soul Yoga does not accept responsibility for any items that are lost and can not be found or if any item is found in a damaged condition as it is the responsibility of the owner of the item.
